Your profile is a public page where parents and students can learn about you and your tutoring services, and can contact you to schedule or start a tutoring session. While anyone can view your profile page, only a WeTutor user who has signed in as a parent or student can view your contact information.

You can edit your profile at anytime by signing in, clicking on the My Account link at the top of any WeTutor page, and then clicking on the My Profile tab. Be sure to click the Save Changes button after making any changes.

While all of the profile items described below are optional, remember that your profile is the best way for you to communicate with potential parents and students and to showcase your tutoring skills and teaching background. We strongly recommend including at least grade levels, subjects, available times and your fee, along with the written Summary section, which is displayed when a user searches our tutor directory. Contact Options
From your profile page, a parent can always send you an email (to your account email) or, if you are signed-in to WeTutor, communicate with you via the chat tool. On your profile, you can also display a phone number or instant messaging username, which only WeTutor parents and students can see.

Grades
Select the grade levels for which you consider yourself qualified to tutor. This is important as grade levels are one of the criteria used by parents to search our tutor directory.

Subjects
Select the subjects and subcategories, if applicable, for which you consider yourself qualified to tutor. This is important as subjects are one of the criteria used by parents to search our tutor directory. To select more than one subject, click the Add button.

Availability
Select the days of the week and times during which you are available fore tutoring. Be sure to select your time zone. To enter more than one time period (including more than one on the same day), click the Add button.

Fee
This is your suggested fee. You can always agree to a different fee for any session or with any student. Your fee is one of the criteria that parents can use to filter their search results in our tutor directory.

Summary
Summarize your tutoring and background. This is important as this summary will be displayed when parents search our tutor directory.

Qualifications and background
Describe your tutoring qualifications and teaching background. Feel free to describe any relevant experience, how many years you have taught, your degrees, or anything else that might be useful to a parent considering buying tutoring from you.

More about my tutoring
In this section you can list anything else that might be useful for a parent but does not fit elsewhere in your profile.

Pictures, videos and widgets
This section allows embedding “widgets” or other HTML-code products from third parties. For example, you could add a YouTube video of yourself talking about your tutoring services. This section also enables you to upload a picture to be displayed on your profile page and in the search results when parents search out tutor directory.
