I forgot my password, what should I do?

If you forget your password, click Sign In on the top right corner of the WeTutor Home Page and then click on Forgot Password?. After you fill in the requested information, we will send further instructions to the email address associated with your account. Please be sure to check your email spam folder in case our email is accidentally identified as spam.

Can I change or update my account information?

Yes, you can change or update your account information at any time. After signing in, click My Account in the top right corner of the page and then click the Account Info tab. For security purposes, if you want to change your name or address, you will need to contact support@wetutor.com.

If you want to change or update information in your public tutor profile, click the My Profile tab instead.

If you want to change your WeTutor ID, click the Change ID tab instead.

What does my transaction status mean?

In the Transactions tab on the My Account page (when you are signed in), you can review your past WeTutor sales and commission bills. Each sale has a Status message indicating the status of the student's payment to you. “Completed” means that the student completed the payment. “Pending” means that the student completed, but PayPal has not yet confirmed, the payment. “Waived” means that the student filed a complaint about the transaction, and that WeTutor ruled in favor of the student and waived the payment. “Failed” means that the student has not yet completed the payment, including cases where the student filed a complaint and WeTutor ruled in your favor.

If I change my WeTutor ID, do I lose my ratings?

No. Your tutor ratings and sessions sold number are associated with your account, not any specific WeTutor ID. Therefore, even if you change your WeTutor ID, your existing ratings will stay in place. This is both for your protection and that of other users.

How do I delete my WeTutor account?

If you would like to delete your account, please send an email to support@wetutor.com with “Account cancellation” in the Subject line and your WeTutor ID in the body of the email. Please be sure that you send that cancellation email from the email address associated with your WeTutor account so that we can verify your identity before canceling your account.
